The Heritage Community Investment Program invests funds—provided by the City of Edmonton—into the stabilization, increased professionalism and innovation of heritage in Edmonton, for Edmontonians. Grants staff is seeking 2024 jurors from now until January 15, 2024 at midnight. Read the Call for Jurors and complete this online form to indicate your interest and availability. In 2023, local heritage practitioners continued to display the creativity and diversity needed to tell Edmonton’s stories in new and compelling ways. It is our privilege to support this storytelling through our granting programs, FIRE (Funding Indigenous Resurgence in Edmonton) and HCIP (Heritage Community Investment Program), as well as our multimedia platform ECAMP (Edmonton City as Museum Project).
Below is a list of all the projects we’ve supported through our various HCIP streams in 2023. Click on the “summaries” links below for more information on projects funded through a given stream. We’ve also separately shared the details on work FIRE played a role in funding in Fall and Spring 2023.
