On Tuesday, May 4 at 7:00 PM and Wednesday, May 5 at 2:00 PM, EHC presents two opportunities to attend a free 90-minute online grants workshop. This discussion of upcoming funding opportunities through the Heritage Community Investment Program (HCIP) will also provide advice on how to make your submission as strong and effective as possible.
Are you in the early stages of planning your heritage project and interested in learning about funding opportunities through the Heritage Community Investment Program? The Edmonton Heritage Council is hosting two free workshops on Zoom to support potential applicants in preparing submissions to the Project Accelerator and Research & Planning grant streams, with upcoming deadlines on June 4 and October 1.
At this afternoon or evening workshop, you will:
- learn about eligibility requirements for the HCIP Project Accelerator and Research & Planning Grants
- receive valuable tips to help you in writing a compelling grant application
- share your project ideas with other heritage practitioners, and
- hear from other attendees about their heritage work.
The session will include a brief presentation from Julia Darby (EHC Grants Coordinator), breakout rooms with other participants to discuss project ideas, and lots of time for questions.
We are offering both an afternoon and evening session to accommodate various schedules. To register for the evening session on May 4, visit this event page. To register for the afternoon session on May 5, visit this event page. Please only register for one session, as both workshops will cover the same material.
If you are unable to attend the sessions at these times or you want more one-on-one time with EHC staff to discuss your project, please sign up to attend office hours on May 6 or 7. You can book your thirty-minute time slot here.
