SOLD OUT: Walking the Footsteps of Early Black Edmonton

Register now (by donation) for this June 17 (10:00 AM) walking tour presented by ECAMP (Edmonton City as Museum Project) and curated by Dr. Russell Cobb.

Black migration from Oklahoma to Edmonton created a lasting (although often forgotten) mark on the city’s culture. This walking tour explores the people and places of that early period of African-American culture in Edmonton. This tour will start outside the Edmonton Convention Centre and wind its way to Commonwealth Stadium. Please be prepared to walk or roll 3 kms. Lunch is provided and an accessible bus will take participants back to the starting point after the tour.
