Mac Brock (he/him) is a storyteller, communicator, and producer based in amiskwaciywâskahikan (Edmonton) on Treaty 6 territory. He has been a consultant or administrator for various arts and culture non-profits throughout the city with specialty in granting and communications. His passion lies in developing professional capacity and accessibility practices in the culture and heritage sector. He’s also an award-winning playwright and theatre producer specializing in queer prairie stories.
While he calls Edmonton home, Mac was born and raised in Regina, SK on Treaty 4 territory. He’ll gleefully talk your ear off about Wascana Lake, the Big Dig, and the Capital Pointe hole if you let him. Since then, he’s been beyond charmed by the River Valley, the vibrant festival scene, and the longest summer nights.
