AGM 2022

Members of Edmonton Heritage Council are encouraged to register for the society’s Annual General Meeting. And Edmontonians are encouraged to become members, with free and paid memberships available now.

The business meeting (set to begin at 5:30 PM on Zoom, with the Zoom venue opening to attendees shortly after 5:00 PM) is an opportunity to learn more about EHC’s activities over the past year and to elect a new Board of Directors drawn from our valued membership.

The evening will conclude with a presentation from Omar Mouallem, whose recent work has included the book Praying to the West: How Muslims Shaped the Americas and the film The Last Baron, both supported in part through HCIP funding. As well, Edmonton City Councillor Keren Tang (Ward Karhiio) will bring greetings on behalf of the City.

Please find the meeting package elements below and note that our 2021 Annual Report will be added to this site before end of day on Friday, May 20.

If you plan to attend, please ensure you are a member in good standing so you can vote on business. There are several (individual or organizational) membership options based on length of membership and student/senior status. To reduce barriers and encourage community members to get involved with EHC, anyone who wants to may choose low-income or free pandemic relief membership levels, which are full memberships with voting rights.

If you are unsure of your current membership status, please contact info@edmontonheritage.caMore details, including AGM package, to follow.

Registrants for this event who are current members will be provided with a Zoom link and password in advance of the event.

Online ticket registration, which is free, will end 24 hours before the meeting.

Note: the meeting and public chat messages (as well as those sent to EHC staff and/or panelists) as well as vote results will be recorded strictly for internal purposes. As the meeting is being offered in Zoom’s webinar format, members in attendance who are not featured speakers will not be visible on the recording.

Do not hesitate to be in touch with any questions or concerns.
